If you would like to experience yuppie style rural living, you will love the Rhinebeck - Red Hook area. Majestic and preserved from flocks of residential houses, they are two special treasures in the Hudson Valley corridor of upper Dutchess County.
Move here and you won’t be sacrificing quality of life, as the area hosts many fine restaurants for elegant dining, the Rhinebeck Center for the Performing Arts, The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, the Museum of Rhinebeck History, the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum, the Wilderstein Preservation, the Northern Dutchess Botanical Garden, pumpkin picking on the Greig Fame in Red Hook, Bard College activities, and much more.
Homes range in price from $165,000 for a small ranch home, to over $4,000,000 for an estate type luxury home. However, there are only a few communities with moderately priced homes. Most of the area is populated by high income people who either own large farms or estates; or high priced luxury homes in remote areas.
Luxury homes are generally selling for between $350,000 and $1,200,000. You can click on the price above to see all the homes for sale, in your price range, in any area of Dutchess County; or specifically in the Rhinebeck and Red Hook area. Contact me for a private showing in any home you are interested in seeing.
