There are many great communities in Dutchess County. These were chosen for special emphasis because they are in lower Dutchess and offer many amenities in addition to the advantage of being in a convenient commuter location. If you commute to work in any of the surrounding counties, or need to be near an airport or train station,  each of these is within a few minute commute to Route 84.

 

The Legends doesn't have swimming facilites; but is surrounded by the fairways of the Beekman Golf Course.  Dalton Farms has an equestrian center for the horse back riding enthusiast.

 

Dalton Farms, Four Corners, Van Wyck Meadows, Van Wyck Glen, Streamside Knolls and Holly Ridge have community centers for their residents. These communities, plus Deer Crossing, Fox Ridge, Elm Crest, Round Hills, and Village Park have community swimming pools, and childrens play areas. Most have tennis courts.

 

They are all great places to live, if you want to have more than a nice house to come home to. The price ranges vary; with a community and life style to match every budget.
